Staff Accountant Internship
One of the most important roles in Corporate Accounting today is the position of the Staff Accountant. He or she normally has a degree in Accounting or Business and has 1 to 4 years of Accounting experience in industry accounting. AMOA Financial Group is a growing and thriving business seeking a Staff Accountant Intern .
This individual must be currently seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (sophomore to junior preferred). He or she must also have a strong desire to experience and learn what it feels like to run a new growing thriving business.
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and will be asked to provide most recent transcript or comparable document.

Daily bookkeeping for 7 to 20 clients, including but not limited to maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, entering, allocating and posting transactions. Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts. Maintain and balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries. Maintain historical records by filing documents. Prepare financial reports for review by CFO by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends. Filing of some monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports. Contribute to the team by accomplishing job duties on a consistent and timely manner.
As the Staff Accounting Intern of AMOA Financial Group you will fulfill the duties of our Executive Assistant while being responsible for post-closing (bookkeeping) duties for all clients. Executive Assistant duties include, answering email and phones, filing and shipping.
Staff Accountant Internship: $15 to $17 per hour. First right of refusal to interview for Staff Accountant position.
Training and Probationary period of 90 days: $10.25 per hour . Two raises available within first 90 days.
Intern must complete a 90 day probationary period and become a Certified ProAdvisor for QuickBooks Online to advance to Intern level and receive promotion. During the 90 day probationary period 2 incremental raises are available.
Monday through Friday
20 hours per week required.
Flexibility is available for school schedules.
