Dehvon Davies; Founder + CFO
Dehvon Davies began her career in 2003 within weeks of graduating with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from DeVry University. She learned many of her guiding principles from then-mentor Kathryn Cantwell, the CFO of a successful mortgage bank in Irving, Texas. Four years later, she continued to grow in the field of accounting and financial analysis while managing assets, revenue, and financial reports for the board of Omniflight Helicopters in Addison, Texas before eventually becoming the Controller of an exciting start-up called Urban Acres in Oak Cliff, Texas.
After aiding in the transition and sale of Urban Acres, Dehvon created her own consulting firm, AMOA Financial Services, meant to provide small businesses with the same back-office and analytical support she'd once offered board members and entrepreneurs during her career. Currently, Dehvon is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration and Analytics at Texas Woman's University, and she is projected to graduate in the summer of 2019.
